Expert Tips Before You Go

  • Season: Aim for July to early October. Spring can be messy, especially in BC.
  • Prep: In the East, resupply is easy. In the West, plan your food and water carefully—remote means remote.
  • Ride smarter: Download GPS tracks (try Komoot or RideWithGPS), share your route with a contact and bring your essential tools.

If you're craving adventure, solitude, scenery and a good bit of leg burn, these 10 gravel routes deliver the goods. So, pump up those tires, strap on your gear, and hit the dustier side of Canada.
